My name is Lily and I am...

...Technophobic.

There. I said it. I really hate technology. Particularly technology that's new to me. Like, you show me a new website I have to work out and I will stare at it in confusion for a few minutes, start to get that dizzy panic feeling, stop breathing briefly and then close the page. Sort of like if you give your Nan a Blackberry and ask her to call you.

This is, of course, one of the reasons I can end up being fairly uncommunicative in general. I deal with human contact fairly well, but once I have to deal with technology I struggle. Facebook makes me want to cry, quite often, and when I first tried to blog the dashboard made my heart stop. Practise makes perfect though, and so far I've quite enjoyed working out how things happen on here.

I think the whole technology-based-panic-attack-thing may well be linked to my aversion to change. Or my general struggle to keep up with life- overwhelming piles of 'stuff to do' are not helped by all those nasty red notifications telling me there's more stuff I havn't yet done.

I'm not sure how much this information is interesting, bit it does explain why I've chosen to over-blog for this month or so. I'm hoping to break the habit of a life-time and no longer panic at the computor. So far so good...

SIDENOTE: My hair is now about 2 shades darker and a tiny bit redder than it was yesterday. Also, have some pretty pictures of campus...

And a selection of ice-cream from the Co-op which seems to be a little heart-broken...

Blogathon: Day 2

Blogging every day is a bit harder than I expected. Mostly because I forgot about the day ending. In 35 minutes! So here are some words:

Firstly, everyone should look at this tumblr in order to appreciate unlimited lols. I never thought Kim Jong Il could be so hilarious.

Also, currently watching Great British Hairdresser. Saw Zack-from-upstairs. He cried. Excellent. James Brown just said "You can't style a hair cut. You have to cut it. That's why it's called a haircut" I feel I've learnt something. But he will never be the new Gok Wan.

It is now 11.59... so...

A Blog A Day...

...Keeps the doctor away? Hopefully.

Anyway- as I have such a brilliant track record with blogging (!) I have decided to post a blog Every Single Day. From Now until Easter. Fingers crossed every-one.

So Yesterday was spent in the company of Becca (stalk her over at Knit Happens) doing various things of a Bath-Like nature (get your mind out of the gutter. All of you!) such as eating cheap burgers and looking at wedding dress exhibits at the fashion museum . The day looked like this;

Designed by Alexander McQueen...!

My favourite. From 1928. Who says I'm old-fashioned?

We had nice coffee and then went to the park. Because we are Grown Ups. Honest.

I have also had a sudden brainwave- To Do Lists. I love them. Alot. And it's something I can definitely write every day... so this is how I will end my posts.
1. Fairy Tale for tomorrow.
2. Wash Up
3. Film in new camera
4. Call D
5. Paint nails
6. Make brownies for F
